Covid in Costa Rica
info, protocols,updates
& test options

Yes! It's safe to be in Costa Rica! Over 3.5 million vaccines have been administered.

The surge of cases has mostly occured in the densely populated city of San Jose which is about 4 hours south of Flamigo, Potrero, Surfside, Brasilito and Conchal.

Shuttle and tour companies, restaurant employees and other businesses are following the protocols by wearing masks, providing hand washing stations and some are taking temperatures.

Beaches are open!

The curfew is 10pm throughout the country.  Most of the activities and tours are operating normal hours but some are limited to 1/2 capacity and require masks.
